WELCOME TO THE 2024 SPRING SEASON

For information about the Baseball divisions (A, AA, AAA and Major), and Softball divisions (6U - 12U),  click on the "Divisions" tab on the main website page.

REGISTRATION FEES:

Earlybird discount from November 15 until November 30.  Registration fees for upper divisions of baseball and softball increase on December 1.

Scholarships are available if needed.  Email [email protected]

BASEBALL EVALUATIONS:

Evaluations are January 20 and 21, 2024.  Players in the Upper Division (machine pitch to majors) must be evaluated for team placement in order to participate. We are working on coordinating a possible make up day for anyone that missed their scheduled date.  We will invite many of the wait list players to try out as well, so if they get in, we know where to assign them. 

SOFTBALL EVALUATIONS:

Evaluations will take place on Sunday, January 7 (with a makeup tbd) and are mandatory for placement on 8U - 12U teams.  Players registering for 6U / Coach Pitch (Rookie) softball do not need to attend evaluations.   Softball league age is determined by the player's age as of August 31, 2023.
 

MANAGING AND COACHING:

If you are interested in being a team manager or coach, please complete the volunteer section in the registration portal.  It's important you fill out all your info there.  You many also email us directly if you have special request to manage and coach with another adult.  All parties have to complete the volunteer section in registration so make sure if you do email, you have already registered.  This is not for player requests, just coaching staff request.


OPTIONAL SNACKBAR DUTY BUYOUT:

West L.A. Little League is entirely volunteer run and relies on our community to lend a hand. This year, each family has the obligation to volunteer 5 hours of service in the snack shack. We are giving families the option to "buy out" their Snack Shack obligations in advance. If you are interested in the "buy out" which allows you to forego working any Snack Shack shifts, simply choose the optional "buy out" when paying your fees at the completion of the registration process.. 

If you choose not to participate in this "buy out", you will be contacted after registration is closed to sign up for a volunteer shift or two totaling approximately 5 hours and you will be expected to either cover that shift or find someone (14 or older) to cover that shift for you. Thank you for your cooperation and acknowledgement of this policy and your willingness to contribute to the success of West L.A. Little League.

Tball is coed for boys and girls.

T-ball players do not need to attend evaluations.

2024 Spring Coach Pitch

Coach Pitch players do not need to attend evaluations unless the player is a league age 7 in which case he/she may be asked to attend.
